Los bordes (tope) de seguridad con mayores dimensiones de contacto de seguridad
solamente podrán ser montadas e instaladas por personal autorizado!
Safety contact edges may only be assembled and Installed by authorized personnel!
1. Para facilitar la instalación de la punta borde de seguridad, el perfil de aluminio sólo
puede ser conectado a superficies planas. Si la arista de borde es montada en una curva, el
radio no debe ser menor que lo especificado.
To facilitate installation of the safety contact edge, the aluminum profile may only be attached to
even surfaces. If the safety contact edge is mounted in a bend, the radius must not be less than
specified.
2. El perfil de aluminio debe estar equipado con tornillos achaflanados o remaches. Un
diámetro de 4 mm es suficiente. Los orificios de 4,5 mm tiene que ser distribuidos
uniformemente por toda la longitud del perfil de aluminio con distancias entre sí no
superiores a 300 mm. Ellos tienen que ser avellanados de acuerdo con el tornillo.
The aluminum profile must be fitted with countersunk screws or rivets. A diameter of 4 mm is
sufficient. The holes of 4.5 mm must be evenly distributed over the entire length of the aluminum
profile with distances between them not exceeding 300 mm. They have to be countersunk
according to the screw.
3. Tornillos, de cabeza redonda o no, deben ser usados. En caso contrario, el alambre de
conexión en el perfil de aluminio puede ser damnificado.
Pan-or round-head screws should not be used. Otherwise the connecting wire in the aluminum
profile could be damaged.
4. Con la finalidad de llevar el alambre de conexión a través del perfil de aluminio, un orificio
de 8 mm necesita ser perforado en el lugar apropiado. Retire cuidadosamente la rebaba de
ambos lados.
In order to lead the connecting wire through the aluminum profile, an 8 mm hole has to be drilled in
the appropriate place. Carefully remove the burr from both sides.
5. Con la finalidad de hacer un encaje del borde de seguridad más fácil, el perfil de aluminio
y el del borde de contacto deben ser pulverizados con agua y jabón. Una vez que la espuma
de jabón se haya evaporado del borde, el perfil (tope) de seguridad está firmemente
encajada en el perfil de aluminio. Para impedir que ocurra un posterior deslizamiento del
borde (tope) de seguridad, no utilice aceites, lubricantes o similares.
In order to make fitting the safety contact edge easier, the aluminum profile and the safety contact
edge should be sprayed with soapy water. Once the soap suds have evaporated the contact edge
is firmly fitted in the aluminum profile. To prevent a subsequent slipping of the safety contact edge
talcum powder, oils or similarly durable lubricants may not be used!
6. Los bordes (topes) de seguridad con mayores dimensiones a la base tiene que ser
cerradas con un lado para el perfil de aluminio. Enseguida, presione en el c-base, tirando o
empujando el borde. No realice este procedimiento con bordes de seguridad con el perfil en
aluminio.
7. Los bordes (topes) de seguridad con mayores dimensiones necesitan ser cerradas con
un lado para el perfil de aluminio. Hecho esto, presione en la otra base, tirando o empujando
el borde. Cuidado: este procedimiento puede causar daños al borde de contacto.
Safety contact edges with collateral c-basesat first have to be cllpsed with one side into the
aluminum profile. Then pressin the other c-base. Pulling or pushing the safety contact edge into the
aluminum profile can cause damage to the contact edge and should be avoided at all costs.
8. Los bordes (topes) de seguridad con mayores dimensiones a la t-base deben ser
empujados hacia dentro del perfil de aluminio.
Safety contact edges with a t-base have to be pushed into the aluminum profile.
9. Si el borde no está actuando en una área seca, es importante suministrar un drenaje de
agua: Para esto, la salida de agua marcada deberá ser cortada para que ocurra el montaje
vertical en la tapa con extremo inferior y el montaje horizontal en ambas tapas dae los
extremos.
If the edge is not acting in a dry area it is important to provide a water drain. For this the marked
water outlet is to be cut out. For vertical assembly in the lower endcap, for horizontal assembling in
both endcaps.
Cualesquier otros métodos de presillas sólo son permitidos en previo acuerdo con el
fabricante! Cuando son montadas en puertas seccionadas, el uso del tapón (dependiendo
del perfil) es recomendado. Schmersal excluye cualquier responsabilidad causada como
resultado de un montaje e instalación incorrecto!
Any other methods of fastenings are only permitted on prior agreement with the manufacturer!
When mounted at sectional doors, the use of stopper (depending on profile) is recommended.
Schmersal excludes all liability caused as a result of an Incorrect assembly and installation.
