"ERROR": The word "ERROR" appears in the display when the result
contains more digits than the display can show.
Press
to clear the "ERROR" message.
The value is retained in the memory (M).
The device switches off automatically if it is not operated
for approx. 8 minutes!
Changing the Battery
The device is provided with two sources of energy:
- solar energy, which is absorbed by the solar panel above the display.
- a 1.5 V battery (LR 1130).
If the quality of the image in the display begins to deteriorate, it is a sign
that the power supply is too low. Recharge the supply via the solar panel
above the display by exposing the front side of the device to sufficient light
(sun, bright lamp, something similar) or change the battery:
13. Carefully loosen the screw on the rear side of the device and remove
the cover.
