• The appliance is not intended to be controlled by an external timer or separate remote-control system.
• The aooliance is not designed for commercial use. It is intended for use in domestic households
and in similar working and residential environments.A short power-supply cord should be used
to reduce the risk resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. Longer
detachable power-supply cords or extension cords are available and may be used if care is exer-
cised in their use. If a longer detachable power-supply cord or extension cord is used: The marked
electrical rating of the cord set or extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating
of the appliance; and The cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or
Tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over unintentionally.
• If the appliance is of the grounded type, the extension cord should be a grounding-type 3-wire
cord.
• Before using the digital slow cooker for the first time, remove all labels and tags from the product.
Wash the ceramic pot and glass lid in hot soapy water with a sponge or a dish cloth, rinse tho-
roughly and dry. IMPORTANT: DO NOT IMMERSE THE DIGITAL SLOW COOKER BASE IN WATER.
• Note: During initial use you may notice a slight odour due to the burning off of manufacturing
residues. This is completely normal and will disappear soon.
• To begin cooking, plug the power cord into an outlet. The digital panel shows OFF and blinks. Press
the ON/OFF button once, and press HIGH/LOW/WARM button. The base will begin to work in 12
hours automatically. To choose HIGH or LOW or KEEP WARM function, please press the HIGH/
LOW/WARM button. It will cycle through from HIGH to LOW to KEEP WARM with each press of the
button. When the HIGH/LOW working time ends, the slow cooker will automatically turn to WARM
in 6 hours, and then the digital panel shows OFF and blinks again after 6 hours end.
