6.5 Calibration
The CD-2005 can be calibrated in one point. It is necessary to use a calibration pat-
tern near the reading point.
Calibration of the CD-2005:
•
Having conductivity pattern with a determined value (P)
•
Check that the conductivity constant of the probe is correct: 0.01, 0.1, 1 or 10
•
Introduce the conductivity cell inside the pattern liquid
•
Wait that the reading will be stable
•
Make note of the reading (L)
•
Calculate the correction factor: C = P / L
•
Press one of the keys «ADJ» (10), the display will show the current value
•
With the keys «
•
Press «ENTER» (12) to validate the new correction value
The conductivity meter is calibrated.
Note: Usually the conductivity meter must be calibrated:
•
On starting up
•
When the probe is changed
6.6 Conductivity cell handling
•
Follow the own intructions from the conductivity cell if it has.
•
Avoid to hit the cell.
•
Clean with water after every measurement.
7 Warranty
The warranty covers the defective components or faulty assembling of the unit for 1
year since the purchasing date.
Keep the purchasing invoice as the only valid document for the purchasing date.
The warranty does not covers the damages caused for a unit malfunction. The unit
must be suitably qualifi ed before to be used for valuable samples processing.
Return good are not accepted without previous J.P. SELECTA, s.a.u. approval.
