Please read these operating instructions carefully
prior to operation and keep them for later refer-
ence.
1 Applications
The Bluetooth receiver WSA-10BT is used for wire-
less connection between a Bluetooth signal source
(e. g. notebook, smartphone, tablet PC) and an
audio system. Thus, audio files replayed on the
Bluetooth signal source can be reproduced via the
audio system connected to the WSA-10BT.
The WSA-10BT supports the signal transmis-
sion aptX ® which will substantially improve the
audio quality.
2 Safety Notes
The units (receiver and power supply unit) corre-
spond to all relevant directives of the EU and are
therefore marked with .
WARNING The power supply unit uses danger-
ous mains voltage. Leave servicing
to skilled personnel only. Inexpert
handling may result in electric shock.

The units are suitable for indoor use only. Protect
them against dripping water and splash water,
high air humidity and heat (admissible ambient
temperature range: 0 – 40 °C).

Do not operate the receiver or immediately dis-
connect the power supply unit from the socket
1. if the units are visibly damaged,
2. if a defect might have occurred after a unit was
dropped or suffered a similar accident,
3. if malfunctions occur.
In any case the units must be repaired by skilled
personnel.

For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth; never use
water or chemicals.

No guarantee claims for the units and no liability
for any resulting personal damage or material
damage will be accepted if the units are used for
other purposes than originally intended, if they
are not correctly connected or not repaired in an
expert way.
If the units are to be put out of operation
definitively, take them to a local recycling
plant for a disposal which is not harmful to
the environment.

3 Operation
1) Connect the Bluetooth receiver to the audio
system using the digital output "Toslink" (2) or
"Coaxial" (3) or the analog output "Analog" (4).
To connect the output "Analog", two different
audio cables are supplied.
2) Connect the power supply unit provided to the
jack "DC" (5) and to a mains socket (230 V~/
50 Hz). Thus, the receiver is switched on. The
status LED (1) starts flashing.
If you use a power strip with on / off switch, it
will be easier to switch the receiver on and off.
3) Activate the Bluetooth function at the Bluetooth
signal source and connect the signal source to
the WSA-10BT (refer to the manual of the sig-
nal source, if required). If a PIN code is re -
quested, enter "0000".
Notes
1. On the display of the Bluetooth signal source, the
WSA-10BT is indicated as "BTAD01".
2. To allow signal transmission, the Bluetooth signal
source must use the profile A2DP.
3. To ensure the best audio quality, the Bluetooth sig-
nal source should support the signal transmission

4) As soon as the Bluetooth signal source has
been connected to the WSA-10BT, the status
LED (1) will light permanently. Start the audio
reproduction at the signal source.
If a signal source was already connected to
the WSA-10BT and then disconnected, this sig-
nal source will automatically be reconnected as
soon as it enters the reception range of the
WSA-10BT. The WSA-10BT is able to store up
to 10 Bluetooth signal sources for automatic
connection. However, an automatic connection
may not work with every signal source.
