BURNER IGNITION
• Close totally the air intake 2, open slightly the gas passage key 1 and
approach, laterally, an ignited match to the mouth of tube 5.
• Regulate the gas key 1, until obtaining a flame with the wished height.
• Gradually, open the air intake 2.
• DO NOT OPEN IT IN A SUDDEN WAY BECAUSE THE BURNER
CAN BE EXTINGUISHED.
• In order to obtain a higher temperature, open more the gas key 1 and
air intake 2.
• THE BURNER EXTINGUISHES WHEN CLOSING THE GAS KEY 1.
4.Gas
• In models that have no gas regulation key, please use the installation
key.
4.2
FLAME ADJUSTMENT
In order to obtain a flame with great calorific power, the suitable air
intake must be adjusted to the gas entrance. If the burner burns with the
air intake too much closed, the combustion is incomplete and the flame
shows an orange color.
When opening the air passage, and when turning piece 2, the combustion
is complete and in the flame two clearly separated zones by a light blue
cone are apreciated.
Outside the cone, the combustion is complete, and a great calorific
power is obtained. Inside the cone, the combustion is not complete and
the temperature is inferior.
Once the air intake is adjusted, it can be fixed with the piece 4
counterclockwise.
How to make a practical verification of the flame adjustment:
Hold a porcelain capsule with a clamp upon the flame:
• If the capsule is blackened by the smoke, it indicates that the air
intake is insufficient.
• If some small drops of water arise, it indicates that the air intake is
correct.
4.3
MAINTENANCE
Approximately once a year, clean up the injector hole and the outlet
pipe of the flame. Check the status of the toric joints of the gas passage
key.
