MANUAL
MATERIALS
→ Steel base with powder coating.
→ Galvanised steel tubes with powder coating.
→ Screw thread on foot and tube in brass.
→ Brass tap with powder coating.
→ Turning knob (tap) in zinc with powder coating.
→ Chrome-plated brass Gardena connection.
CONTENTS
1 x base
(1)
1 x straight tube with Gardena connection
(2)
1 x curved tube with tap & shower head

USE
→ If the Levantine stands out in the sun for a
long time, the water inside can become very
warm. Therefore you must let the shower
run empty before you come into contact with
the water.
→ Over time, standing water can become a
fertile breeding ground for bacteria. Therefore
you must let the shower run empty before you
come into contact with the water.
→ If you aren´t going to be using the Levantine for
a while, you must let the water run out of the
shower. Disconnect the garden hose from the
Levantine until it has drained out completely.
→ The Levantine mustn't remain outside in freez-
ing temperatures and snow - and certainly not
if it is still filled with water.
→ The powder coating is an effective protection
against rust. Attention: Never treat the coat-
ing with any hard materials or objects. The
coating also shouldn't come into contact with
hard surfaces. If you assemble the shower
and set it on the ground, make sure that the
coating of the base doesn´t hit the ground too
hard. If the coating is damaged, the exposed
surface can corrode.
→ We strongly recommend not using the shower
with seawater: the inside of the Levantine is
made of galvanised steel and has been given
an anti-rust treatment, but in the long run the
aggressive seawater will cause corrosion.
→ Chlorinated water will, in the long run and
through repeated contact, cause the coating
to discolour.
→ It is recommended to save the package and
use it for storage or when moving.

MAINTENANCE
→ Powder coating is a good stable protection,
also for outdoors, but regular maintenance will
help ensure that the coating remains intact.
→ Use a soft, non-pilling cloth or sponge.
→ Use a solution of warm water and a small
amount of pH-neutral cleaning product.
→ Carefully rinse the cleaned surfaces afterwards.
→ The Levantine must be cleaned every three
months.
→ In an aggressive environment, such as on
the seacoast or in industrial zones, monthly
cleaning is highly recommended in order to
optimally maintain the coating.
ASSEMBLY
1. Place the base
on a flat, non-sloping surface.
(1)
2. Never use tools when assembling: they can
damage the powder coating.
3. Take the straight tube
(2)
and place it carefully
with the bottom end (with the Gardena con-
nection) on the screw thread coming up from
the base.
4. Hold the tube vertically and begin turning it
manually in the clockwise direction until the
screw thread turns properly in the tube.
5. Once you feel that the screw thread is turning
properly in the tube, keep turning until it's
good and tight.
6. Take the 2
nd
tube with tap and shower head
and place it carefully on the screw thread
coming up from the already-mounted tube.
7. Hold the tube vertically and begin turning it
manually in the clockwise direction until the
screw thread turns properly in the tube.
8. Once you feel that the screw thread is turning
properly in the tube, keep turning until it's
good and tight.
9. The Levantine is ready to use!
You can use a normal garden hose to supply
the water, provided that it has a ZEE coupling
(e.g. Gardena connection).
1. PLACE THE BASE(1) ON A FLAT, NON-SLOPING
SURFACE.
2. NEVER USE TOOLS WHEN

FULLY ON THE SCREW THREAD
7. HOLD THE TUBE VERTICALLY AND BEGIN
TURNING IT MANUALLY IN THE CLOCK-
WISE DIRECTION UNTIL THE SCREW
THREAD TURNS PROPERLY IN THE TUBE.
8. ONCE YOU FEEL THAT THE SCREW
THREAD IS TURNING PROPERLY IN THE
TUBE, KEEP TURNING UNTIL IT'S GOOD
AND TIGHT.
9. THE LEVANTINE IS READY TO USE!
YOU CAN USE A NORMAL GARDEN HOSE
TO SUPPLY THE WATER, PROVIDED THAT
IT HAS A ZEE COUPLING (E.G. GARDENA
CONNECTION).

PLACE IT CAREFULLY WITH THE BOT-
TOM END (WITH THE GARDENA CON-
NECTION) ON THE SCREW THREAD
COMING UP FROM THE BASE.
BEGIN TURNING IT MANUALLY IN THE
CLOCKWISE DIRECTION UNTIL THE
SCREW THREAD TURNS PROPERLY
IN THE TUBE.
THREAD IS TURNING PROPERLY IN
THE TUBE, KEEP TURNING UNTIL IT'S
GOOD AND TIGHT.
