INDICATOR LED
Red LED1: lit steadily.
Red LED2: flashing slowly.
Red reader LED: lit steadily
and switches off briefly every

If the unit is not working properly,
these LEDs give different signals. In
this case, disconnect and reconnect
the power supply.
Red LED1: lit steadily.

Red LED2: flashing rapidly.

When a valid User key is passed in
front of the reader:

CREATING THE MASTER KEY
The Master key is used to enter programming mode
without having to open the module.
Position the key near the reader.

» The first key/card positioned near the reader
will become the Master.
» The green LED on the reader will flash three
times to indicate that the Master key has been
created.
CREATING USER KEYS
1. Pass the Master key in front of the reader.
» The reader LED will flash rapidly in green/red to
indicate transition to programming mode.
2. Pass the keys/cards you want to register in front
of the reader, one at a time.
3. To exit programming mode, pass the Master
key again or wait for 15 seconds without doing
anything else.
» The reader LED will stop flashing.
DELETING THE MASTER KEY
If the Master key is lost, it can be deleted from
the unit memory and another Master key can be
programmed.
1. Move selector S3 to ON (programming).
2. Press and hold S2 for 5 seconds.

4. Move selector S3 to 1 (operating mode).
» A double beep will confirm the procedure was
successful. From this moment, the first key
passed in front of the reader will become the
new Master.
TOTAL RESET
The factory settings of the unit can be restored,
deleting all saved keys, including the Master.
1. Move selector S3 to ON (programming).
2. Press and hold S2 for 10 seconds.
» After 5 seconds LED3 comes on.
3. Press and hold S2 for another 5 seconds.
» LED2 flashes rapidly.
4. Release S2.
5. Move selector S3 to 1 (operating mode).
» A double beep will confirm the procedure was
successful.
» The access password to access the unit via
software is "0000"; the Master key and the User
keys are deleted.
CHANGING THE RELAY ACTIVATION TIME
The activation time is factory set to 5 seconds.
1. Move selector S3 to ON (programming).
2. Press S1 repeatedly to set the opening time (the
time increases by one second for every press).
3. Move selector S3 to 1 (operating mode).
» A double beep will confirm the procedure was
successful.
» The minimum time that can be set is 1 second,
while the maximum time that can be set is 99
seconds.
REMOVING INDIVIDUAL USER KEYS
The SIMPLEKEY BASIC software in kit Art. SK9093,
supplied separately, can be used to view the list of keys
programmed on the unit and to delete them.
1. Connect the unit to the computer using the cable
supplied (see diagram on page 14) in the kit
and launch the program.
2. Click "Key management" and then "Generate key
list" to view them.
3. Delete one or more keys by selecting them and
clicking "Delete selected keys".

The entire memory can be deleted by clicking
"Delete all keys".
» The unit will then be completely empty and the
first key placed near the reader will become the
new Master key.
