4.2 As determined by fiber count, load fibers into the Splice Chips as shown in Figure 8.
4.3 Re-install the trunk cable to the entrance tie down point and secure the service loop as shown in steps 3.7 and 3.8. Provide an additional
tie wrap at the front of the storage as shown in Figure 9. Trim the tie wrap tails and install the rear lid.
4.4 Turn the Splice Module over and place the splice deck and base with the rear of both facing each other approximately 4" apart.
4.5 Install the Splice Chip for fibers 13-24 first as shown in Figure 10. Route the fibers underneath the retention organizers near the fiber exit
points of the Splice Chip. Install the chip for fibers 1-12 as shown in Figure 11.
4.6 Carefully working away from each splice sleeve exit, route all trunk fibers counter clockwise and all pigtail fibers clockwise under the
retention organizers as shown in Figure 12. There will be remaining slack on all pigtail fibers at the completion of this step. (Figure 13).
4.7 Carefully install one loop of pigtail slack via twist under the retention organizers in the top storage chamber. Loosely secure the loop with
tie wraps and remove the tails (Figure 14).
4.8 Lift and rotate the Splice Deck 180 degrees clockwise (Figures 15 and 16).
4.9 Install the Splice Deck tabs first while tucking the fibers under the retention flange at the rear of the module. Slide the tabs into the slot
towards the rear of the module (Figure 17).
4.10 Lower the Splice Deck in place. Verify all fibers are correctly routed on the splice deck and under the retention flange and organizers
(Figures 18 and 19).
4.11 Install the top lid (Figure 20).
