CE MARKING SYMBOL KEY
Below is an explanation of the CE Marking and other markings on the Superduty 5 and Truant 2 Boots envisaged both by Directive 89/686/EEC and
by EN 13634:2015. The CE marking is located on a label stitched onto the Superduty 5 and Truant 2 Boots.
Chart 1: Label Explanation
CE marking to indicate that the protective footwear complies with the requirements of Directive 89/686/EEC
Pictogram indicating that a User Manual (Information Notice) has been provided for this product
Specific symbol to indicate the protective footwear is for motorcycle use only

X¹ numeral denotes impact abrasion resistance level of upper
X² numeral denotes impact cut resistance level of upper
X³ numeral denotes transverse rigidity of footwear
IPA - footwear meeting the optional requirements for ankle impact protection
IPS - footwear meeting the optional requirements for shin impact protection
WR - footwear meeting the optional requirements for resistance to water penetration
FO - footwear meeting the optional requirements for resistance to fuel oil

Protective footwear size according to country. The undesignated size denotes U.S.A. sizing.
In addition to the markings described above, the year and, at least, the quarter of manufacture will also be
indicated on a separate label. Some additional coded information, which Icon® uses to track the product may
also appear. The code may also appear in other versions of the marking.
