2. DO NOT EXPOSE the machine and the Charger to rain or conditions
of extreme humid. Water entering a power tool will increase the risk of
electric shock and damage to equipment.
BATTERY - USAGE AND CAUTION:
1. CHARGE only with Charger specifi ed by Starrett. A charger with
different specifi cation may result in risk of fi re during the charging process;
2. USE the machine with the specifi ed Battery. The use of other Battery
models, including other voltages (Volts) or capability (Ah) may create a
risk of injuries and/or fi re;
3. When not in use, KEEP the Battery away from metal objects, such as
paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws and other small metal objects
that may make connection from one terminal to other. Short-circuit in
the terminals of Battery can cause burn or fi re;
4. Under abusive and misuse conditions, the Battery may leak fl uid. AVOID
any type of contact. If accidental contact of the liquid, WASH with water
the body part that made the contact. If case of contact of liquid with eyes,
GO to the doctor immediately. The liquid leaking from the Battery may
cause irritation or burns;
5. Batteries unusable must be returned for disposal at any point of
Technical Assistance network of Starrett no charge.
SERVICE:
All corrective and preventive maintenance of the machine must be per-
formed by a authorized Technical Assistance of Starrett, just using origi-
nal parts. It will ensure that the safety of machine is maintained.
