1. IMPORTANT WARNINGS

- The manufacturer reserves the right to make changes to the product with no prior warning;
- The manufacturer shall not be held liable for personal injury or property damage due to improper use or an incorrect installation.
Carefully read this instruction manual before installing and programming the control unit.
- This instruction manual is for the sole use of technical personnel qualified in the field of power operated installations.
- None of the information contained in this manual is of interest or use to the end user.
- All maintenance and programming operations are only to be performed by qualified personnel.
- THE POWER OPERATED EQUIPMENT MUST BE IMPLEMENTED IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE CURRENT EUROPEAN
NORMS:
- EN 60204-1: (safety of machinery, electrical equipment of machines, part 1: general rules).
- EN 12445
(Safety in use of power operated doors. Test methods).
- EN 12453
(Safety in use of power operated doors. Requirements).
- The installer must install a device (e.g. thermal magnetic JPitch) which guarantees omnipolar disconnection of the system from the
mains. The norm requires separation of contacts by at least 3 mm in each pole.
- For the connection of rigid or flexible tubes, fittings must be used which are in compliance with a protection category of IP44 or higher.
- The installation requires skill in the electrical and mechanical field, it must only be performed by a qualified person able to issue a type A
declaration of conformity on the complete installation (EU Machinery Directive 89/392, annex IIA).
- It is obligatory to comply with the following norms for power operated doors: EN 12453, EN 12445 and EN 12978 as well as any
national requirements.
- The electrical system upstream from the power operated equipment must meet current norms and be performed perfectly.
- We recommend using an emergency pushbutton to be installed near the power operated equipment (connected to the STOP input
on the control board) so that it is possible to stop the gate immediately in the event of danger).
- Connect the gnd wire of the motors to the mains gnd system.
2. NOTES FOR THE INSTALLER
If more than one control unit is going to be installed, we suggest keeping a distance of at least 3m between the control units in
order to ensure correct operation of the receiving radio.
The control unit is not equipped with any disconnection device for the 230 AC mains. A specific disconnection device must be
fitted during the installation.

3. OPERATING FEATURES

Programming the transmitter (button 1 up – button 2 down):
Programming the remote control is performed in the following way:
1 – Press the PROG. Button
2 – The LED CODE will begin to flash.
3 – Press the UP button on the remote control.
4 – The LED CODE will flash quickly.
5 – Within 10 seconds, press the down button on the remote control.
6 – The LED CODE will remain lit to indicate successful programming.
If the second code is not sent within 10 seconds, the control unit exits the programming phase without memorizing the remote control.
This procedure can be repeated to memorise up to 20 remote controls. If all 20 codes were memorised and you repeat the
programming operation, the LED signal will start flashing very quickly to indicate that the memory is full.
Remote-control commands can also be memorised without using the PROG key on the control unit. The procedure is as follows:
1. Take a remote-control command already memorised and send the code to the control unit, keeping both buttons pressed
down for more than 20 seconds.
2. The control unit begins programming making some movements of the shutter;
new codes may be programmed during this phase by proceeding exactly as described above starting from the point 2.
Note: if no code has been memorised yet, then the remote programming phase may be activated by any remote control command.
