- The temperature of the acces-
sible surfaces may be high when
the appliance is in use.
- If the connection is damaged
it must be replaced. Take the
appliance to an authorised
Technical Assistance Service.
Do not try to dismantle or repair
without assistance, as this may
be dangerous.
- Ensure that the voltage indicated on the nameplate and voltage se-
lector matches the mains voltage before plugging in the appliance.
- Connect the appliance to a base with an earth socket withstanding
a minimum of 10 amperes.
- The appliance's plug must fit into the mains socket properly. Do not
alter the plug. Do not use plug adaptors.
- Do not use or store the appliance outdoors.
- Do not leave the appliance out in the rain or exposed to moisture.
If water gets into the appliance, this will increase the risk of electric
shock.
- Do not force the electrical wire. Never use the electric wire to lift
up, carry or unplug the appliance.
- Do not wrap the cable around the appliance.
- Ensure that the electric cable does not get trapped or tangled.
- Do not allow the connection cable to come into contact with the
appliance's hot surfaces.
- Check the condition of the electrical connection cable. Damaged or
tangled cables increase the risk of electric shock.
- As an additional protection to the electrical supply for the applian-
ce, it is advisable to have a differential current device with a maxi-
mum sensitivity of 30mA. Ask for advice from a competent installer.
- Do not touch the plug with wet hands.
- Do not use the appliance if the cable or plug is damaged.
- If any of the appliance casings breaks, immediately disconnect
the appliance from the mains to prevent the possibility of an electric
shock.
- Do not touch metal parts or the body when it is operating, as it may
cause serious burns.

Use and care:
- Fully unroll the appliance's power cable before each use.
- To keep the non-stick treatment in good condition, do not use
metal or pointed utensils on it.
- Respect the MAX level indicator (Fig. 1)
- Boiling liquids could overflow from the receptacle if it is over filled.
- If you use the appliance in a bathroom or similar place, unplug
the appliance from the mains when it is not in use, even if it is only
for a short while, as proximity to water involves a risk, even if the
appliance is disconnected.
- Disconnect the appliance from the mains when not in use and
before undertaking any cleaning task.
- This appliance is for household use only, not professional or
industrial use.
- This appliance should be stored out of reach of children and/or
the disabled.
- Do not put the appliance away if it is still hot.
- Do not store the appliance on areas where the temperature could
be lower than 2ºC.
- To ensure that the iron functions correctly, keep the iron face
smooth and do not hit it against metallic objects (for example, the
ironing board, buttons, zips...)
- The use of distilled water is recommended, especially if the water
in your area contains any type of grit or is "hard" (contains calcium
or magnesium).
- Never leave the appliance connected and unattended if is not in
use. This saves energy and prolongs the life of the appliance.
- Never rest the appliance into a surface while in use.
- Do not use the appliance on any part of the body of a person or
animal.
- Do not use the appliance to dry textiles of any kind.
- Turn the thermostat control to the minimum (MIN) setting. This
does not mean that the iron is switched off permanently.
Service:
- Make sure that the appliance is serviced only by specialist person-
nel, and that only original spare parts or accessories are used to
replace existing parts/accessories.
- WARNING: There is a risk of fire if the appliance is not cleaned
following these instructions.
- Any misuse or failure to follow the instructions for use renders the
guarantee and the manufacturer's liability null and void.

Before use:
- Remove the appliance's protective film.
- Make sure that all the product's packaging has been removed.
- Make sure that the voltage selected in the voltage selector coinci-
des with the mains voltage.
