Connect the power cable [3] to the transmitter's "5V DC" connector and plug the
adapter into a wall socket.
Please note! Do not place the transmitter or receiver in an enclosed space such as a
TV cabinet or equivalent. Provide adequate ventilation to ensure that the product is
functioning properly and to protect against overheating.
4.4 Installing Power over Cable (POC)
The MegaView 76™ supports bi-directional Power over Cable technology, making it
easy to provide the transmitter and receiver with supply voltage from a single point.
This eliminates the need for a power connection for the receiver near the TV. The
supply voltage is transmitted from the transmitter to the receiver through the CAT5e/6
cable. This built-in technology allows you to place the receiver out of sight behind your
TV, without the need for a power outlet.
4.5 Connecting the USB extension
The MegaView 76™ features a built-in USB extension function. This enables you to
continue to operate connected HDMI sources, such as a media center PC or laptop,
from another room, using a mouse and/or keyboard.
4.5.1 On the transmitter
Connect your PC or laptop to the transmitter [3], using the supplied USB cable.
4.5.2 On the receiver
Connect your mouse and/or keyboard to the receiver [10].
