OPERATING MANUAL
Avoid overheating the rechargeable lamp anyway. Excess heat might damage the battery
and expose it to the risk of explosion.
Use the rechargeable spotlight indoors, away from rain and humidity.
The power supply voltage of the appliance should match the value indicated on the rating
plate of the lamp.
Do not use any other type of power supply.
Before each use, check the appliance, the cord and the plug.
Do not use it in case of damage or failure.
Periodically check the electrical power supply cord. Do not crush or tread on the electrical
power supply cord.
A damaged cord can cause electric shocks.
Do not wear out the cord. Never use the cord for carrying, pulling or unplugging the applian-
ce. Keep the cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts.
Charge the appliance at a room temperature ranging from +10 °C to +40 °C.
Lower or higher temperatures can damage the battery and inhibit normal charging.
It is normal that the appliance and battery get hot while charging.
However, they must be left to cool to room temperature, between two consecutive charges.
Do not point the light beam at people or animals; intense light can damage the eyes.
Magnet is only suitable for attaching the unit to metal plate in vertical downward or upward.
OPERATION
After the fi rst charge, the spotlight can be used for up to 4 hours with maximum light output
(650 lumens), or up to 8 hours with minimum light output (300 lumens).
After the battery has been charged, working will be possible, providing external power sup-
ply through the two supplied cords (one with 230V European plug, and one with 12V cigarette
lighter plug).
In the external power supply mode, and with the spotlight on, the battery is not charged. For
the battery to be charged again, the spotlight must be kept off.
If, with the bayonet plug fi tted in, input voltage (12V or 230V) is not available, the red LED will
fl ash, to indicate that the lamp is not charging the battery.
Several different supports and anchors are available:
- non-slip rubber tops on three sides for horizontal planes
- multi-swivel hook
- ¼" female thread for use with stands (camera-like standard)
- magnet that can be screwed to ¼" female thread for steel frames
- LED light and spotlight body can be used as clamp for fi xing spotlight to objects with hori-
zontal edges, including ladder rungs.
After the spotlight has been leaned or fi xed safely, it can be turned on, by pressing the oran-
ge button on the back, pointing light in the optimal direction through the joint between the
lamp body and the LED light.
