INSTALLATION
1) Open the siren. If present, remove the anti-passivation bridge from the connector of each battery and
connect the batteries (exclusively at the time of acquisition) as shown in fig. 2.
For siren acquisition and configuration, refer to the AV2009/01 Installation Manual.
2) Fasten the siren to the wall using the holes prepared (fig. 3 "A" – removing the module from its casing if
necessary).
REPLACING BATTERIES
When the batteries are dead the central unit will signal the need for replacement. To replace the batteries,
remove the case and the cage and disconnect the batteries from the electronic module. Replace them (fig.
4) and take the used batteries to an authorised disposal centre. The data programmed remains after battery
replacement.
!!! ATTENTION !!! DANGER OF EXPLOSION IF THE BATTERY IS REPLACED WITH ANOTHER OF
THE WRONG TYPE. FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR ELIMINATING USED BATTERIES.
Remember that lithium batteries are classed as special waste under code n° CER 160605 (E.W.C.
160605) and their disposal at the end of their lifecycle is regulated by precise legal provisions.
