Battery installation
Using a screwdriver, open the battery compartment and insert 2 AA batteries
into the battery compartment. The LED indicator on the back of the sensor
turns on for 4 seconds and then flashes once every 48 seconds, indicating that
data is being transferred (update time).
Notes
•
If an LED does not light up or is permanently on, make sure that the
batteries are inserted correctly. Reinsert them if necessary. Do not insert
the batteries the wrong way round as this may permanently damage the
outdoor sensor.
•
Lithium batteries are recommended in cold weather conditions. Alkaline
batteries are suitable for most temperature ranges. Rechargeable
batteries should never be used.
