4.- STANDARDS

4.1.- ELECTROMAGNETIC COMPATIBILITY

The equipment satisfies the requirements of the 89/336/CEE Council
Directive related to the electromagnetic compatibility, but the following
concepts must be taken into account:
1. The repeater earth connection will be connected to the supply source
mass.
2. The power supply cables as well as the ones used in any of the options
with input and output signals, will have less than 2 metres length.
3. If the length is higher, It can be neccesary to use additional shielding
elements (ferrites,
electromagnetic immunity in those conditions.
4. In the case of repair or replacement of the equipment parts, all the
plating, carcases and electromagnetic shielding elements must be set
back again.
