Mixer cartridge replacement: when the mixer has problems, such as water loss or when it no
longer allows the temperature to be balanced, the internal cartridge may need replacement or simple
maintenance and cleaning: this guarantees long life and minimum effort in closing the tap. The
cartridge is in fact a component that is easily subject to wear: its functioning can be compromised by
the presence of limestone or debris present in the water (sand, for example).
Cartridge Replacement Sequence (FIG-5-1):
unscrew the screw underneath the handle and remove it

unscrew the chrome ring nut
b)
unscrew the brass nut
c)
remove and replace the cartridge
d)
retighten the brass nut
e)
retighten the chrome ring
f)
mount the handle and fix it
g)
If it is necessary to replace the foot wash tap, avoid loosening the tightness between the
shower body and the fitting: in this case the fitting fixed to the shower body must be held in place with
a wrench (FIG-5-2)
