Read this material before using this tool. Failure to do so can result in
serious injury.
• Do not allow this tool to be used by persons suffering from reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities unless they are under instruction and supervision by trained
personnel.
• Keep your air hydraulic riveter out of children's reach or persons requiring supervision.
Never leave the riveter unattended.
• Never point the riveter towards yourself or others.
• Only use your air hydraulic riveter according to the instructions in this user manual. The
riveter is not intended for constant commercial use.
• For your own safety, do not fasten the the compressed air hose directly to your riveter –
use the quick coupling included instead.
• Always use a pressure reducer to set the working pressure.

Your riveter generates a sound pressure level of 89 dB (A) – use appropriate
hearing protection while using the riveter.
• Do not use oxygen or flammable gases as energy sources – always use clean, dry
compressed air at a pressure of about 6.5 bar to operate your riveter. Exceeding the
maximum pressure of 8 bar will significantly shorten the life of the tool.
• Always disconnect your riveter from the compressed air source when not in use and
before servicing (such as emptying the safety cap). Do not use your riveter without the
safety cap.
• Check that of the connections and hoses are tightly connected and in good working
order. Loose hoses may cause serious injury. Only use safety couplings.
• Check your air hydraulic riveter for damage; do not use the tool if damaged.
• Do not block or cover the air vents.
• Do not overreach, keep a secure footing and balance at all times.
• Be attentive and watch what you are doing. Use your common sense and don't rush it.
• Do not use your riveter if you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or
medication. A momentary lapse in concentration while operating a tool may result in
serious injury.
• Wear suitable close-fitting work clothing and sturdy shoes, and keep long hair in a
hairnet. Jewellery and loose clothing may get caught up in the tool.
• Keep your work area tidy – untidiness invites accidents.
• Make sure you work under good lighting.
• Do not use your air hydraulic riveter in the presence of flammable liquids, gases or dust
that a spark could ignite.
• Never carry the tool by the hose – hold it by its casing. Keep the grip dry and free of oil or
grease.
