It is important that you follow steps 1 and 2 to remove the battery safely.
CAUTION FIRE HAZARD! To avoid a short-circuit and thus avoid a fi re,
the removal of the rechargeable batteries may only take place as
described.
The battery cables must be cut separately. If the cables are cut at
the same time the battery could short circuit.
