10. Disruptions
- During operation, water runs out of the check valve!
The check valve was installed the wrong way round. Pull off the non-return valve and put it
back onto the hose the other way around.
- The system light lights up red!
The system battery is deeply discharged. Please check the positioning of your solar module.
We recommend changing the battery every 2 years (see point 8).
- The alarm light flashes red in idle mode!
The water level sensor has triggered! The water level in your water tank is too low. Please check
the water level and fill it up.
- The alarm light flashes red during operation and the pump pumps in pulses!
An automatic pressure switch-off is built into the irrigation system. The system regulates the
optimum pressure automatically and prevents overpressure in the pressure hose. This can
happen if only a few drippers, misters or water sprinklers are installed in your system. This
effect is prevented by expanding the system with several drippers, misters or water sprinklers.
- The alarm light flashes red during operation and the pump pumps in pulses!
Multiple drippers, misters, or water sprinklers are clogged. The water accumulates in the pres-
sure hose! Please clean the drippers, misters or water sprinklers according to the respective
instructions.
- The irrigation system does not water automatically in the morning and in the evening!
The output voltage of the solar module is used as the twilight sensor. The solar module must
therefore not be exposed to any external light. Mount the solar module so that it gets dark at
night.
11. Wintering
The watering computer, water filter with water level sensor and all hoses must be stored frost-free
in a warm place in winter. The solar module is hardy and can overwinter outdoors. In order to
preserve the service life of the battery, it should be charged via the solar module before wintering.
Then switch the watering computer off using the "SYSTEM ON/OFF" switch and store it fully
charged in a warm place for the winter!
