Initial setup

Connect the cable remote control to the motor
housing (6) of the uni 12_75K.
Connect the power supply unit with integrated
mains isolation (8) from the uni 12_75K motor
housing to a power outlet.

Adjustment options

To preset your sleep position, the head piece can
be manually locked in one of four positions.The
setting of the back section has virtually no impact
on the end position of the head piece.
The remaining comfort zones can be adjusted in-
dividually via the single function buttons (1 – 4) or
jointly via the combined button (5).
Resetting all comfort zones to the horizontal po-
sition
Press and hold the button (5), until all comfort
zones have reached the horizontal position and the
motors have stopped. In case of a power failure,
the basic position can only be reached through the
emergency set-down function.

Additional functions

Controlling a second slat base
A second slat base can be controlled individually
or jointly through parallel controls. The parallel
controls are available as an optional accessor y
from your Swissflex stockist.
Connecting the parallel controls
Connect the cable remote control to the relevant
connector at the parallel controls and connect
both ends with the motors (6).

Maintenance and care

Do not store or use the uni 12_75K and accessories
in extreme temperatures in excess of 60 °C, as
this can lead to malfunctions and deformation of
parts. The uni 12_75K has been designed for use in
temperatures between + 5 °C and 40 °C.
Disconnect the mains cable (7) from the power
outlet, before installing or removing a slat base.
Do not feed cables through the adjustment me-
chanism to prevent damage to electronic parts or
personal injury. Ensure that the different comfort
zones of the slat base are not blocked, as this can
cause overheating and damage to the motors.
Do not place heav y objects on the cable to pre-
vent damage. In case of damage to the cable or

accessories, disconnect the mains cable (7) from
the power outlet and have them checked by your
Swissflex stockist.
Clean the uni 12_75K and accessories with a dr y
cloth only. Do not use detergents or chemical sub-
stances.
For safety reasons, change the batteries in the
uni 12_75K motor housing ever y 3 years to pre-
vent leakages. Swissflex re commends the use of
leak-proof 9 V block batteries. In case of contact
with the battery fluid, wash the affected area with
plenty of water and seek medical assistance. Bat-
teries must be disposed of through a specialist
retailer.
Changing the batteries in the motor housing
Carefully remove the batter y from the batter y
clips. Place two 9 V block batteries into the com-
par tment, paying attention to the +/- markings.
The batter y in the motor housing provides power
in case of a power failure.
Behaviour in case of malfunctions
In case of malfunctions with your uni 12 _75K,
consult the following troubleshooting tips. If the
problem cannot be resolved, disconnect the uni
12_75K from the power outlet and contact your
Swissflex stockist.
The uni 12_75K does not work despite being
switched on and all components being connec-
ted properly
Disconnect the mains cable (7) from the power
outlet. Wait a minute and then reconnect it. If ne-
cessar y, use a bedside lamp to check that mains
voltage (110–240 V) is present. If no voltage is pre-
sent, check the fuse. As the remote control of the
uni 12_75K is equipped with micro-processors,
irregulatities in power supply can lead to compli-
cations.
After a power failure
Before resuming use of the uni 12_75K, press and
hold the button (5) , until all sleep areas have re-
ached the horizontal position and the motors have
stopped moving.

a power cut, press the green button on the power
