Inhalation for the upper respiratory tract

Hold the nebuliser vertically, sit in a relaxed, upright position.

Switch the compressor on.
The nebuliser will generate a visible mist (aerosol).
When using the child mask:

Hold the mask up to the face so
that it forms an airtight seal over
the mouth and nose.

Tell your child to breathe in through
the nose calmly, deeply and
evenly, and then after holding for a
few seconds to breathe out again
through the nose.
When using the nasal joining piece:

Hold the openings in the nasal join-
ing piece directly over your nostrils.

Breathe in calmly, deeply and
evenly through the nose and then
after holding for a few seconds
breathe out again through the
mouth.
