4. OPERATING
INSTRUCTIONS
This laser was designed to measure
distances indoors.
To ensure a safe operation, it is
necessary to consider the following
aspects:
 Before using, check if every fixing
screw is properly tightened. It is
important to check regularly the laser
to ensure every safety issues and
performance;
 Prevent the device from bumping
or falling. Laser damage can impair
accuracy;
 The reception lens and the laser
ray outlet must not be covered or
obstructed while measuring;
 Keep the laser ray outlet and the
reception lens always clean;
 In case of a strong presence of light,
and to obtain a better visibility of the
laser ray, use laser glasses, a target
plate for the laser beam or shade the
target surface ;

surface to be measured;
5. To start a new measurement, press
again
"Power
ON/Measurement"
button.
The duration and quality of the
measurements depend on the distance,
the light conditions and the reflective
properties of the target surfaces.
There are surfaces that may cause
measuring errors:
 Clear surfaces (glass, water);
 Reflective surfaces (polished metal,
glass);
 Porous surfaces (insulating material);
 Surfaces with structures (rough
plaster, natural stone);
 Inclined surfaces;
On these cases, a target plate shall be
used over the surfaces.
