After the SCB CF SM unit has been installed and connected, you must
configure the relays used.
1 Relay 1: configure the EP018 parameter (Status relay func. 1)
2 Relay 2: configure the EP019 parameter (Status relay func. 2)
Nc Contact normally closed: the contact opens when the status is true.
No Contact normally open: the contact closes when the status is true.
1.4.1 Configuring EP018/EP019 on control panel A
1. Activate the Installer level
2. Go to the Installation Setup > Status information menu.
3. Select the parameter Status relay func. 1 (EP018) or Status relay
func. 2 (EP019).
4. Set the parameter according to the function of the relay:
Generator on DHW: controlling an additional circulating pump on
the heating circuit
Cooling mode: actuating a reversing valve according to the heat
pump operating mode (heating or cooling)
