Best Practices – Important Notices
1. Always make sure to clean the unit thoroughly before use with a soft sponge or cloth. Never use an-
ything hard like as a brush or scraper to clean the unit. It is important to avoid scratching the inside
of the FastFerment™ to ensure everything can funnel through properly.
2. It is advised to completely disassemble the unit and clean it thoroughly every 6 months. This will
help ensure the longevity of the parts and the quality of your beer & wine. Extra care and attention
must be taken to ensure the plastic threads are not damaged when taking apart or putting the unit
back together.
3. Mount FastFerment™ out of direct sunlight.
4. It's best to avoid long-term aging in the unit unless head space is filled with CO
5. Do not put excessive pressure or force on the mounting bolts on the side of the unit. They are tested
and rated to hold up to 100lbs (45 kg). Excess weight can rip the metal inserts out of the conical

Determine the area where you will mount the FastFerment™ by locating 2
adjacent wall studs. Wall studs are typically 16" (40,64 cm) apart, which is
ideal for the mounting system. You will need a stud for each bracket.
For homebrewers who are bottling - mark a spot on each stud at 40" (101,6 cm) in
height. If you are kegging, mark spots at 52" (132,08 cm) in height. Ensure the marks
are exactly the same height to keep the unit level when mounting.
Line the top of each bracket up with the line drawn on the stud. Make marks in the 4
bolt holes in the wall mount for where you will screw in the anchor bolts.
Start pilot holes and mount both brackets.
Hand tighten 2 bolts into the side of the FastFerment™ until they are snug.
Do not overtighten.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Screwing the bolts too tight into the inserts will pop the insert out
and ruin the wall mounting capabilities.
Place FastFerment™ onto the wall mounting system and ensure the 2 bolts fully rest
inside the cut outs on the Wall Mount.
If you encounter difficulties when closing the lid, we recommend lubricating the rubber
ring in the lid and the threading with Vaseline to make it easier to close.
