To replace filter bag clip, first fold down
top of bag over plastic strip (D).
Push clip over edge.

Replacing bag door
To replace bag door, lift up lower edge
of filter bag. Insert the 2 tabs (E) on bot-
tom of bag door into the 2 slots on bag
compartment.
Make sure all edges of filter bag are
completely inside the bag compart-
ment.
Close door.
Should you want to replace the cloth fil-
ter bag, ask for part no. 43667052.
Changing paper filter bag
Disconnect cleaner from electrical out-
let.
1. Remove bag door following Fig. 3-1.

2. Align opening in new filter bag with dirt
tube (B) inside bag compartment. Push
bag collar (A) firmly onto tube.
Fold top of bag down under top of bag
compartment.
3. Replace bag door following Fig. 3-9.

After replacing clip, open bag cap (C).
Paper filter bag
When to replace
Check filter bag from time to time. It is
recommended that you change the filter
bag when dirt reaches the bottom of the
bag collar. If more dirt than this accumu-
lates, your cleaner may not operate
effectively.
NOTE: Check and change the filter bag
frequently when using cleaner on new
carpet due to rapid accumulation of
carpet fluff.
CAUTION: Very fine materials, such
as face powder, cornstarch, fireplace
ashes or fireplace soot, may seal the
paper bag and may cause it to burst
even though it is only partially full of
dirt. When cleaner is used to remove
material of this nature, change the
filter bag often.
Final filter
The final filter assists in the filtration
process to return clean air to the room.

How to clean
Disconnect cleaner from electrical
outlet.
Removing door
To remove this filter when it becomes
dirty, depress door latch and remove
door.

Hold filter bag as shown in Fig. 3-2
aligning opening in bag with (B). push
(A) firmly onto (B). Fit bottom of filter
bag into bag compartment.

Filter bags may be purchased from a
Triple S Authorized Dealer.
When ordering bags, be sure to give
the model number of your cleaner.
What to buy
Use only Type Z disposable bags in
order to maintain the original cleaning
effectiveness of your cleaner.

Removing filter
Lift out filter (A) and hand wash it in cold
water with mild detergent.
Let filter air dry and reposition it on
the front of the cleaner. Make sure
the white colored side of filter faces
outward.
