Do not handle the appliance or plug with wet hands.

Only use accessories provided and recommended

by your retailer. The use of non-recommended
accessories could endanger the user and cause
damage to the appliance.
Do not use this appliance:

− If the plug or the power cord is damaged,
− In case of malfunction,
− If the appliance has been damaged in any way,
− If you have dropped it,
− If the blades are damaged,
− If the motor unit has fallen in water.
Take it to an after-sales service centre for inspection

and repair. Repairs cannot be performed by the
user.
Do not use the appliance if the jar is broken, chipped
•
or damaged or if the blades are broken.
Switch off and unplug the appliance before leaving it
•
unattended and before assembling, disassembling,
or cleaning it.
Turn the appliance off and unplug it from the power
•
supply before changing accessories or approaching
its moveable parts when it is running.

If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced

by your retailer, their after-sales department or a
similarly qualifi ed person in order to prevent any
kind of risk.
Do not hang the power cord over the edge of a

table or work surface, and make sure it doesn't
come into contact with hot surfaces.
Do not wrap the cord around the motor unit and do
•
not twist it.
Do not place or use this appliance near any heat
•
source (hob, heater, etc.).
Do not exceed the maximum capacity indicated on
•
the jar.
When mixing hot liquids, particular attention should
•
be paid to prevent hot liquid spray that could cause
burns.
WARNING: extreme care should be taken when
•
moving an appliance containing hot liquids.
WARNING: the blades are sharp. Handle them with
•
care! Do not touch the cutting edges of the blades
when handling them, emptying the jar or cleaning
them.
