Never suck in ash by inserting the tube into it. Never suck
in hot or red hot ash. Never suck in damp or wet ash.

7.2.2 Hand-operated filter shaker. See fig.7b.
Filter (B1) and filter (B2) can be cleaned with the filter
shaker device.
Operate the filter shaker device several times. See fig.7b.
If the dirt is still not effectively detached after shaking
several times, remove filter (B2) and, if necessary, filter
(B1) and proceed as shown. See fig.11.
If the dirt cannot be removed, change filter (B2) and, if
necessary, filter (B1).

Switch off the appliance. See fig. 6.

Switch off the appliance. See fig. 6.
Disconnect the plug.

Empty the tank
For dry dirt and dust: remove the nozzle from the appliance and empty
the tank. See fig 10.
Clean filter (B2) as shown. See fig.11.

All installation and assembly operations must be performed with the appliance
disconnected from the mains power supply.

Always switch the appliance off and disconnect the plug before any servicing
or maintenance work. Repairs and work on electrical systems may only be
carried out by the Service Centre.

Never use abrasive detergents, glass detergents or universal detergents!
Never immerse the cover with motor (A1) in water. Clean the appliance and
plastic accessories with a standard synthetic material detergent. Rinse the
tank and accessories with water if necessary and dry them before reuse.
8.1.
Cleaning the fire retardant filter. See fig.11.
Open the ash cleaner by releasing the catches (A6). Shake the cover
(A1) up and down so that the excess ash on the filter cover falls into
the tank, turn the cleaner's cover (A1) upside down and remove the
filter (B2).
Shake carefully and reassemble as shown.
Warning: the fire retardant filter must not be washed.
8.1.1 Cleaning the cartridge filter. See fig 11.
Open the ash vacuum cleaner by releasing the catches
(A6). Turn the cover of the appliance (A1) upside down and
remove the filter (B1).
Rinse carefully under running water and leave to dry. Do not
reassemble until dry.
