3.3.2 Hose
Hoses must always be fitted with a plastic hose connector
(not supplied). Moisten the end of the hose connector with a
lubricant (such as liquid soap) and slide the sleeve piece of the
SAPRO over the hose connector.
Fit the hose.
Make sure that the hose is well supported where it is connected
to the SAPRO.

3.4 Connection 2 (e.g. washbasin or shower)
A washbasin or shower can be connected to the side connec-
tions or the connection in the lid.
3.4.1 Side connection
- Fit the connection piece (A) over the side connection and
clamp this with the plastic clamp (B).
- Fit a reducing piece (not supplied) of ø 40 mm to the correct
hose diameter in the connecting piece (A) and clamp this
with the plastic clamp (C).
- Fit the hose.

3.4.2 Connection in the lid
- Cut the marked circle open
using a knife.
- Thoroughly smooth around
the cut and remove any saw-
dust from the SAPRO.
- Fit the packing supplied into
the opening.
- Fit a reducing piece (not sup-
plied) of ø 40 mm to the
correct hose diameter, in the
opening.
- Fit the hose.
3.5 Connection 3 (air vent)
The connection for the air vent is on top of the lid.
In order to prevent any possible problems with smells the air
vent pipe must be connected to an air vent nipple.
1 Remove the cap from the air vent pipe supplied.
2 Cut off the narrowed part of the pipe.
3 Fit the air vent pipe to the appropriate connection on the lid
and clamp this with a plastic clamp.
Fit a reducing piece, ø 19 mm to ø 16 mm (not supplied), in the
air vent pipe.
An optional smell filter can be fitted in the air vent pipe.
Connect the ø 16 mm hose to an air vent nipple.
