Making a Breakfast Sandwich
Plug the Power Cord into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet. The red Power Indi-
•
cator will illuminate, indicating the unit is heating.
Lightly coat/spray rings with cooking oil and close.
•
The green light will come on when unit is heated to the correct temperature and will
•
cycle on and off during cooking.
NOTE: Use handles to lift and close cover and rings. Always use an oven mitt to
protect hand when opening cover. Hot surfaces and escaping steam may cause
scalding.
Place bottom half of bread onto bottom plate. (Bread such as English muffins, small
•
bagels biscuits or croissant).
Top the Bread with ingredients of your choice such as precooked meats, vegetables
•
and cheese. Take care not to over fill the Breakfast Sandwich Maker.
Move top ring and cooking plate down. Make sure cooking plate is rotated securely
•
to the back of the ring to prevent the egg leaking.
Crack an egg onto cooking plate. Pierce yolk with a fork or toothpick. (You can use a
•
whole large egg, egg white, or a scrambled egg).
Top with the other half of bread.
•
Close the cover and cook your breakfast sandwich for 4 to 5 minutes.
•
NOTE: Do not push lid all the way down when loaded with ingredients the lid may rise
as the egg cooks.
When cooking has finished, rotate the cooking plate handle clockwise until it stops.
•
Using an oven mitt, lift ring assembly and cover by holding bottom handle to open.
•
Some sandwiches are easier to remove if rings are lifted individually.
NOTE: Always wait 2 minutes between cooking sandwiches to ensure the Breakfast
Sandwich Maker is heated to the correct temperature.
When finished using the Breakfast Sandwich Maker, unplug from the electrical out-
•
let. Clean as directed in the "Care and Cleaning" section.
