Therefore, maintain good hygiene when working with meat.
The machine may become obstructed when processing meat with a high fat
and/or tendon content. If this happens, it is recommended that you press the
Reverse button (4) to place screw (7) into reverse and thereby unblock the
head.
The button is intermittent, it must therefore be pressed constantly to
ensure operation. Once unblocked, press the ON button to continue working.
If you are unable to unblock the head using the procedure above, proceed to
disassemble the head to eliminate the food that is obstructing the exit orifice. To
do so, turn off and unplug the machine.
3.2 Sausage making instructions
1. With the machine disconnected, attach the mincing head (6) to the motor
unit. Insert the mincing head into the slot on the motor unit whilst pressing the
connection button (5), you will hear a click when it is attached (Figure 1). Once
attached, rotate the head softly until the neck is locked perpendicular (Figure 2)
2. Insert the feed screw (7) through the mouth of the mincing head, attaching it
to the motor unit output shaft. (Figure 3)
3. Install the sausage plate (13) so that its slot is seated on the cotter located
inside the head. Then attach the funnel (12) onto the cap (10) and fix the entire
assembly by turning the cap (10) onto the threaded rim of the head. (Figure 4)
4. Attach the tray (1) onto the neck of the mincing head.
5. The machine is now ready to start making sausages and you can now connect
it to the mains.
6. Place the mincemeat on the tray.
7. Place the sausages to be filled around the funnel.
8. Press the ON/OFF button (3) and the feed screw starts to turn. Insert the
mincemeat into the neck with the help of the food pusher. The meat starts to exit
the funnel, filling the sausages.
