The instrument must only be used by qualified

Safety instructions before using

Follow the manufacturer's instructions and safety
instructions of the medium you are sampling.

Do not fill the instrument with potentially explosive
substances.
`

The instrument must only be used within the
confines of applicable material resistance and for its
designated purpose. Any other type of use will affect
the warranty/guarantee.
Layout and function
The instrument is used for removing pourable powders
and granulates. It is made of anodised aluminium. The
instrument is maintenance-free and suitable for steam
sterilisation (up to 121°C).

Point out any damage in the packaging to the freight
forwarder/supplier immediately.
Safe sampling
CAUTION!
Openings with sharp edges on the instrument.
Danger of cutting.

Keep hands well away from openings with sharp
edges.
1. Turn the handle on the instrument clockwise.
2. The instrument is closed and can pierce into the
powder/granulate.
3. At the desired depth, turn the handle on the instru-
ment counter clockwise.
4. The instrument opens and the sample is filled.
5. Turn the handle on the instrument clockwise.
6. The instrument is closed and can be removed from
the powder/granulate.
7. Open the instrument and empty the sample on an
appropriate surface or use an emptying device (see
accessories).
After taking the sample
1. Press the push-button and pull the inner bar all
the way out by the handle.
2. Unscrew the tip .
3. Clean both parts (tube and bar). Use the cleaning
brushes (see accessories) for the inside of tubes.
