4. Choose the desired unit of measurement by repeatedly
touching UNIT.
You can choose between "g" (grammes), "oz" (ounces),
"ML" (millilitres) and "lb oz" (fluid ounces).
Pay attention to the indication on the display.
If you want to weigh liquids, select "ML" or
"lb oz".
5. If you want to weigh items in a container, place an
empty container on the weighing surface. Otherwise,
continue as described in point 7.
6. Press OFF/TARE.
The display shows "0 g", "0.00 oz", "0 ML" or "0:00 lb oz"
depending on the selected unit of measurement.
7. Put the item or substance to be weighed into the
container or place it onto the weighing surface.
The measured weight is shown on the display.
8. Read off the measured weight and remove the item or
substance from the container or the weighing surface.
Resetting the scale to zero
If the display still shows a minus value (symbol ) even
though the weighing surface is empty (for example, if the
scale is not optimally positioned or a TARE value is still
displayed; see next section), you must reset the scale to
zero.
− Briefly press OFF/TARE once.
When the scale has correctly been reset to zero, the display
shows " ".
