Storing stations:
1. In order to store the radio station, press the
PROG. / M. / P-MODE button. The notification "PRO-
GRAM" will blink in the display and "P 01" is shown.
2. Use the
/ +10 / M.+ /
the desired memory location.
3. Press the PROG. / M. / P-MODE button. The radio
station will be stored.
Selecting stored radio stations
The stored radio stations can be selected by repeatedly
pressing the
/ +10 / M.+ /
Playing CDs
1. Select the CD mode with the / FUNC. button. The
following will appear in the display "CD".
2. Open the CD tray by pressing the PUSH TO OPEN
button.
3. Insert an audio CD with the printed side facing upwards
on to the central cone so that the CD clicks into place and
then close the lid of the CD compartment.
4. The total number of tracks and the playing duration will
be shown in the display after a few seconds.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Playing of CDs and CDRs in MP3 format!
The unit cannot play MP3s. The CD will rotate, but the
sound cannot be reproduced. The display shows the
symbol "
".
5. The CD will play from the first title. The display shows the
current song being played.
6. In order to remove a CD, please press the
open the CD compartment and lift the CD out carefully.
Always keep the CD deck closed.
NOTE:
• If a disc is incorrectly inserted - or no disc has been
inserted - the symbol "– –" and the word " " appear
in the display.
• Please observe:
Many burning methods exist, as well as quality differ-
ences with CDs and burned CDs.
In addition, the music industry does not observe fixed
standards (copy protection).
Because of this, in rare cases there may be problems
with playback of CDs. This is not a malfunction of the
device.
Playing Music via USB
This device has been developed in line with the latest
technical advances in the USB field. The wide range of
different USB storage devices of all types which are currently
on the market, unfortunately do not allow us to guarantee full

/ +10 / M.+,
compatibility with all USB storage devices. For this reason, in
rare cases there may be problems in playing back files from
USB storage devices. This is not a malfunction of the device.
Only use commercially available USB sticks.
1. Insert a USB stick directly into the USB port.
2. Use the / FUNC. button to select USB mode. "– – –"
appears on the display.
3. Playback will automatically start after a few seconds.
For operation, please refer to the section "Description of the
Control Buttons".
NOTE:
• For technical reasons, only 999 tracks can be displayed.
However, should there be more songs on the USB flash
drive, these will still be played.
• Always directly connect a USB storage medium to the
USB port to prevent any malfunctions.
• The USB port is not designed for charging external
devices.
• Please note: The USB port is only intended for playing
music from USB sticks. It only provides a low power
(100 mA) power supply. This USB port is not suitable for
using external 2.5" hard drives with start-up currents
of up to 1100 mA. In order to play music from your
smartphone, iPod or iPhone, connect the designated
AUX IN socket.
• There is a huge variety of compression methods as well
as quality differences for USB sticks.
Furthermore, the music industry does not adhere to
fixed standards (copy protection).
For that reason you might experience problems in
some rare cases when playing back MP3 files. This is
not a malfunction of the device.
CAUTION:
Switch the device to a different operating mode before you
remove the USB storage device.
Description of the Control Buttons

• Press briefly:
You can briefly interrupt and resume playback using this
button. The notification on the display flashes. Pressing
again continues playback.
• Only in USB mode:
Hold down the button to skip 10 tracks back. Provided
that there are more than 10 titles available.
TUN.+ / FOLD.+ /

• With
you can jump to the next or previous track etc.
If the button is kept pressed down, the machine starts to
search through the tracks.
