To Remove Existing Harness Tongues and Buckle and Attach Replacement Buckle
You will receive ONE of
these Graco approved
replacement buckles.
Follow instructions for
proper installation.

Pull waist straps through
seat bottom and seat
pad as shown.

Slide NEW buckle onto harness straps from the
front to the back. Depending on your buckle, the
tongues may have "BACK" written on the back of
tongue. MAKE sure not to twist harness straps.

Pull straps through
slots in seat pad and
seat back.

To loosen straps,
lift lever and pull
harness straps.

Slide old buckle
assembly off of
harness straps as
shown.

Replace waist
strap bars.
Using flat head screw driver take

waist strap bars out of mounts.
Pry up on the ends of the bar
away from the harness strap.

Insert waist straps
back through seat
pad and seat bottom
Turn page over
to finish the rest
of the assembly

Remove bars
from straps
and set aside.

Reach under seat to the
metal retainer. Push the
retainer up through bottom
of seat and remove buckle
and discard.
