PRECAUTIONS

PRELIMINARY OPERATIONS

• Remove all packaging items from the oven cooking compartment and remove all
adhesive labels from the appliance surfaces.
• Check the package integrity and the presence of all accessories. If there is any noticeable
damage or if some parts are missing, return the product as soon as possible
to your dealer.
DANGER: Risk of suffocation! Packaging materials must not be
left within reach of children. The bags and polystyrene parts can cause
respiratory obstruction and subsequent suffocation.
• Place the oven on a stable, flat and heat-resistant surface.
• Plug the power cord into a socket with ground connection.
CAUTION: During the first use of the oven you may notice a burning smell and/or
smoke. This is normal and is caused by combustion of the protective coatings
applied to the heating elements during manufacture.
• Before initial use, the oven must be burnt in by leaving it on for about 15 minutes
at the maximum temperature, with both elements selected and
with the door kept open, making sure that the area is well ventilated.
DANGER: During use, the power cord must not come into contact with the
external surfaces of the oven.
DANGER: To remove the drip pan or grill from the oven while it is hot or switched on always use
the supplied grip handle.
• Before cleaning the oven, wait until it has completely cooled.
USE
PRECAUTIONS TO BE TAKEN BEFORE USE
1. Read all the instructions in this manual.
2. Make sure the oven is unplugged and that the knob is in position "O".
3. Remove all accessories. Wash them in hot soapy water or in the dishwasher.
4. Thoroughly dry all accessories and reassemble them in the oven.
