APPLICATION

Nox-Crete's Pump Foamer is a heavy-duty polypropylene tank, shut-off and wand assembly specifi cally designed to produce
a rich foam that clings to vertical surfaces. When used properly, the Pump Foamer maximizes performance of Nox-Crete's
Kem-Ex-It Plus, Blast-Off and Neutralizer.

SETTING UP & SPRAYING
1) Attach the hose to the shut-off handle and to the top of the tank. (Figure 1.1)
2) Screw one side of wand to shut-off handle and other end of wand to 30 degree wand elbow complete with felt fi lter and
spray tip. (Figure 1.2)
3) Unscrew pump by turning it counter-clockwise and hang on side of tank. Fill tank up to a maximum of 1.6 gal/6 L (or
approximately halfway). (Figure 1.3)
4) Carefully fi ll tank with Blast-Off, Kem-Ex It Plus, or Neutralizer to avoid generating unwanted foam.
5) Turn pump into tank clockwise until tight. (Figure 1.4)
6) Pressurize the tank by pumping until the pressure relief valve releases air, or red is visible on the relief valve indicator
(Figure 1.5). Tank may also be pressurized with an air compressor through the attached air compressor fi ll valve. Best
quality foam is achieved with maximum tank pressure.
7) To avoid accidental discharge, lock shut-off handle when not in use. To do this, pull metallic side of handle upwards and
slide red locking tab until it clicks. (Figure 1.6)
8) The Pump Foamer is fi tted with a compressed air fi ll valve. To use, connect compressed air hose until pressure relief
valve releases air (58 psi/ 4bar), and remove the hose. Ensure that the pressure does not exceed 58psi/ 4bar. Do not
remove the pressure relief valve under any circumstances. (Figure 1.7)
MAINTENANCE

1) Depressurize the Pump Foamer after each use. To facilitate depressurization, place valve automatic depressurization
position (Figure 2.8b). Then, return to its working position (Figure 2.8a).
2) Collect and dispose of any used product in accordance with local regulations.
3) Clean Pump Foamer with water.
4) Clean obstructed spray tip with water and/or compressed air. Do not use metallic objects to clean spray tip (Figure 2.9).
5) To prolong the life of the pump shaft, shutoff handle, and pressure relief valve, regularly apply drops of oil or grease
(Figure 2.10).
6) If liquid fl ow is reduced or obstructed, unscrew shutoff handle and clean fi lter (Figure 2.11).
7) To replace pump plunger, loosen the screws at top of the pump and remove the pump shaft (Figure 2.12).
8) Store the Pump Foamer indoors protected from frost and extreme heat (between 40ºF & 85ºF (5ºC and 30ºC)
(Figure 3.13).
9) There is a fi lter (felt pad) located immediately behind the spray tip. This fi lter should be cleaned with water when dirty. If
damaged or heavily soiled, replace with one of 10 supplementary fi lters (supplied with Pump Foamer). Remove the used
fi lter using a pointed object (Figure 3.14).
10) If liquid fl ow is still reduced or obstructed, remove suction hose and spray hose from tank and clean thoroughly with
water or compressed air.
USES AND SAFETY REGULATIONS

This is a pressurised tank. Handle with care.
Store the Pump Foamer indoors protected from extreme cold and heat.
After each use, clean and depressurize the Pump Foamer.
1) Always follow manufacturer instructions for use and dilution of Blast-Off, Kem-Ex It Plus, or Neutralizer to be used in
Pump Foamer. Contact Nox-Crete for current product and safety data information.
2) Read instructions for Pump Foamer before use. Do not modify Pump Foamer. Do not obstruct or remove pressure relief
valve. Do not use Pump Foamer damaged, deformed or altered from original shape. Should the hose, tank, handle or any
of its connections be damaged, do not attempt to repair. Replace damaged items with new parts.
3) Keep sprayer out of reach of children.
4) The Nox-Crete Pump Foamer is only intended for applying Blast-Off, Kem-Ex It Plus, or Neutralizer.
5) Never purge spray tip or valves by blowing with your mouth.
6) Use only spare parts and accessories from Nox-Crete.
7) Nox-Crete is not liable for any damage caused by the use of foreign parts.
8) Depressurize the tank completely before fi lling, after use, and before completing any maintenance.
9) Once foaming application is complete, lock shut-off handle to avoid any involuntary operation.
