Toasting Bagels:
The Bagel Button enables you to toast bagels or English muffins so the 'cut sides' are
toasted and the 'bottom sides' are warmed.
1) Place the toaster on a flat, steady, stable, heat-resistant surface.
2) Plug the toaster into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet.
3) Select a browning level using the Browning Control Dial (1-6).
NOTE: If you are unsure of the desired browning level, begin with a lower browning
setting and gradually increase the setting until the desired browning results are
reached.
4) Slice the bagel or English muffin into halves.
5) Place the halves into the Bread Slots with the cut sides facing the inside of the toaster.
6) Press down on the Toaster Lever until it locks into place.
The bagel slice(s) will lower and toasting will begin.
7) Press the Bagel Button.
NOTE: Only the inner wall heating elements will activate.
8) To cancel toasting before the Toaster Lever pops up, press the Cancel Button.
9) Unplug the product from the electrical outlet when it is not in use or is left unattended.
Care and Maintenance
CAUTION: Unplug the Power Cord from the electrical outlet and allow the product to
completely cool before cleaning it.
1) Wipe the exterior surface of the product with a clean, damp cloth.
2) Do not use abrasive cleaners or pads to clean the product.
3) Clean the Crumb Tray after each use.
Slide out the Crumb Tray from the bottom of the product and remove any crumbs.
Replace the Crumb Tray into the product after cleaning it.
4) To remove jammed bread:
a) Unplug the Power Cord from the electrical outlet.
CAUTION: Do not insert metallic objects inside of the product, as an

electrical shock hazard may result.
c) Lower the Toaster Lever and keep it in a lowered position.
d) Remove the jammed bread slice from the toaster taking care not to
damage the heating elements.
