Art. 1456 / 1456S is an apartment gateway that:

Can be used to check the video entry phone
system via tablets and smartphones on which the
free ComelitViP Remote App has been installed.
This function can be performed locally over Wi-
Fi, or remotely over 3G (or higher) networks.

Can
(depending
limitations) be used to manage up to 15
slave devices (including door entry monitors,
smartphones,
tablets
simultaneous audio/video streams.
•
Allows "intercom" communication between each
of the 15 devices served.
•
Allows remote configuration via a Web Page.
•
In the master version (Art. 1456), does not require
door entry monitors to be connected.

1. Ethernet port for ViP system riser input (default

Art. 1456S requires an internal unit assigned
to a master monitor.
Connection
Article 1456/1456S has 2 network interfaces,
HOME and VIP SYSTEM, labelled for easy
identification,
separately to meet different system requirements.
Depending on the type of system, connect the
devices as shown in the following figures: fig.
3-4, page 3-4.
Multi-residential system (fig. 3 page 3)
Take particular care with regard to the network
interface settings and do not configure
interfaces ViP SYSTEM and HOME with the
same addresses or similar parameters: each IP
address must be unequivocal, the addresses
of the interfaces ViP SYSTEM and HOME must
not belong to the same subnet.
Kit system (fig. 4 page 4)
All system devices form part of a single network,
so it it is only necessary to configure interface
HOME.
In this case, DO NOT alter the configuration of
interface VIP SYSTEM.
