Maintenance Instructions
Before placing in service for the fi rst time it must have been tested and approved by a qualifi ed expert
(knowledge of DIN standards applicable to children's playing equipment mandatory)!
General Instructions on Inspection and Maintenance
All inspection and maintenance work as well as repairs must be documented – in accordance with EN 1176-7!
Inspection documents need to be made out in writing and stored away for reference.
Routine Visual Inspections (to be carried out at least once a week by suitably instructed person; daily inspection required if subject to frequent use).
Inspection for detecting apparent sources of danger caused by potential vandalism or use.
• Cleanliness of entire installation.
• Functionality, strength and stability of playing equipment (trial run, shaking or vibration test).
• Check for danger points on playing equipment such as loose screws and bolts, wood splinters, etc.
• Check for damage to the playing equipment due to deformation, breakage or destruction.
• Any parts that may become damaged should always be replaced with Erzi original spares (quote component designation as specifi ed in the contents on page 4)
Operational Inspection (at least once a month performed by the caretaker or a qualifi ed expert).
A more detailed inspection, exceeding the routine visual inspection, is needed for checking the proper functioning and stability of the equipment.
• Check the screw connections for intactness and tight fi t, replacing or tightening as required.
• Check wooden parts for visible signs of mechanical damage, wear and tear, protruding splinters, larger cracks and openknot holes.
• Inspect signage – checking to ensure that the rating plate is properly fi xed in place.
• Replace components wherever required.
• Replace defective fastenings.
Annual General Inspection (to be performed by a qualifi ed expert).
Safety Instructions
• Not intended for domestic use!
• Only use under adult supervision!
• Suitable for children aged 4 to 14 years. Children under the
age of 6 years need to be kept under extra special supervision!
• Children must never be allowed to climb on the playing apparatus. Risk of injury!
• The supporting surface must be at ground level.
• Pay careful attention to special potential hazards to which children are likely to be exposed
due to incomplete installations, dismantlement or while maintenance work is in progress!
• No sharp or pointed objects, no steps, no protruding foundations or other obstacles must be
located within a fall area of 1.50 m around the apparatus. In this area means of fall protection
and shock-absorbent foundations (lawn/topsoil) are essential preconditions!
Free-fall height: 625mm < 1000 mm
• The impact surface must be clear of sharp-edged or dangerously protruding objects.
The impact surface must be free of anything that might cause limbs to get caught or trapped.
Care and Cleaning Instructions
The Foodtruck Outdoor has been pre-treated with wood-preservative agents in accordance with Image A. 1 of EN 351-1:2007 and Hazards Class 4 of EN 335.
• Please use wood-preservative agents for regular maintenance and to protect impregnated wood from the effects of weather exposure.
We recommend treatment to be carried out every 1-2 years as required.
• Give preference to environmentally friendly cleaning products.
The Erzi Foodtruck Outdoor conforms to EN 1176-1.
