1. General Instructions
The general instructions for storage systems, material no. 103041, in the current version, must be observed.
National standards and safety regulations must be observed.
2. Special Instructions
Area of the grating must remain free as shown on the type label.
3. Use and intended purpose
The storage system is used for the passive storage of flammable liquids in VbF (Regulations relating to flamma-
ble liquids) classes AI to AIII and B (or classes R10, R11 and R12 under the Regulations relating to hazardous
materials) and of materials hazardous to water and is suitable for drums of up to 200 l capacity.
Only store substances to which the material of the sump is resistant.

4. Technical details
Design
The drum cabinets 8.8 / 8.16 are compliant with European construction regulations, and are manufactured from
sturdy, galvanized steel sheet with a painted steel sump complete with a grid. There is a double row of holes in
the top and the bottom of the door for ventilation. The cabinet can be fitted with a dividing shelf to store small
containers.
5. Assembly
Point of use
For use inside
Place the drum cabinet on the ground.

It is necessary to ensure sufficient ventilation in accordance with TRbF 20 when storing flammable

liquids included in the hazardous materials classifications AI, AII und B (R10, R11 and R12)!
For use outside
Place the drum cabinet on the ground.

The cabinet offers protection from precipitation.
Secure the cabinet to the ground to ensure maximum wind protection.

Instructions to assemble the top of the FS 8.8 cabinet
1.
Screw the edge of the side panels to the door frame.
2.
Screw the rear panel loosely to the side panels.
3.
Push the base support into the groove of the rear panel and screw it in place tightly, see diagram 1.
4.
Place the roof on the top and screw it in place, see diagram 2.
5.
Tighten all the screws!
Instructions to assemble top of the cabinet FS 8.16
1.
Open the cabinet.
2.
Screw the rear panel loosely to the side panels.
3.
Screw the base support to the rear panel, see diagram 1.
4.
Screw the profile frames to the door frame (edge of the side panels).
5.
Fix the joiner to the cabinet.
6.
Put the roof on top, see diagram 2 and screw the overlapping edges to the side panels.
7.
Follow the same procedure with the second cabinet.
8.
Finally, screw the two cabinets together.
9.
Tighten all the screws!
