Firmly hold the hand blender and the receptacle.
NOTE: When switching on the hand blender, hold it at a slight angle to prevent it
from "sticking" to the bottom of the receptacle. The hand blender remains switched
on as long as the "I" or "T" button is pressed. To prevent the ingredients from
splashing,do not press the "I" or "T" button until the blender foot has been
immersed in the ingredients Always switch off the hand blender before taking it out
of the processed food.

After using the hand blender remove mains plug.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
NOTE: Take special care when preparing food for babies, the elderly and infirm
people. Always ensure that the blending rod is thoroughly sterilized. Use a sterilizing
solution in accordance with the sterilizing manufactures instruction.
CAUTION:

Never use solvents and abrasives, hard brushes, metallic or sharp objects for
cleaning. Solvents are harmful to health and attack the plastic parts. Abrasive
cleaners and tools scratch the surface.

Never place hand blender body in water or other liquids.
CLEANING
1.
Unplug the appliance before cleaning.
2.
Clean the motor unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the motor unit in
water!
3.
Wash detachable blending rod with blade in hot soapy water. Rinse well and
dry.
4.
When processing food with color, the plastic parts of the appliance may
become discolored. Wipe these parts with vegetable oil before washing.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Fault
Blender switches off during use.
Remedial action
The overload protection feature has been activated.
1. Switch off the appliance and pull out the mains plug.
2. Leave the appliance to cool down for approx. 1 hour in order to deactivate the
overload protection device.
3. Switch on appliance again. If the fault cannot be eliminated, please contact
customer service.
