Homemade yogurt is usually creamier and not as thick as products from the
store.

During preparation, water may separate, this is normal. Just pour the water
away or mix it back in.

You can use the homemade yogurt to make the next batch. The more often
you do this, the thinner the yogurt will become. If it has become too thin, you
should start over with new yogurt from the store.

If you use only 900 ml of milk, this made the yogurt a little firmer.

If you add 3-4 teaspoons of powdered milk, the yogurt will become thicker.

The yogurt will also be thicker if you let it ripen in the refrigerator for a day
before eating.

Ultra-high temperature milk does not need to be cooked before making
yogurt.

Instead of using yogurt cultures from other yogurts, you can use yogurt
powder from health food stores or online retailers.
