CARE AND MAINTENANCE
WARNING
• All maintenance should only be carried out by a qualified service technician.
• Before cleaning or performing any maintenance, remove the battery pack. For safe and
proper operation, always keep the tool and its ventilation slots clean.
• When servicing, use only identical replacement parts. Use of any other parts may create a
hazard or cause product damage.
• Always wear safety goggles or safety glasses with side shields during power tool operation
or when blowing dust. If the operation is dusty, always wear NIOSH/OSHA approved
respiratory protection.
• To reduce the risk of personal injury and damage, never immerse your tool, battery pack or
charger in liquid or allow a liquid to flow inside them.
Cleaning
After each use, examine and clean the nozzle and air vents. Wipe the heat gun surface with a
clean cloth moistened with a mild soap solution.
Storing
Store indoors in a dry location. Do not expose to rain or moisture.
TROUBLESHOOTING
WARNING
• Make sure that tool is turned off and the lock on/off switch is in the center (OFF) position,
and remove the battery before performing troubleshooting procedures.
PROBLEM
Tool does not work.
The LED worklight blinks
rapidly.
The LED worklight blinks
slowly.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
Low battery capacity.
The tool or battery is
overheated and the tool has
automatically stopped working
to protect internal circuits.
The battery charge is very
low.

CORRECTIVE ACTION
Charge the battery pack.
Release the trigger
switch, wait for the tool to
cool down, then start the
tool again.
Charge the battery.
