1. Install the Timer Kit
IMPORTANT! Install the timer kit with the outlet facing the floor. This will help prevent moisture from
entering the outlet.
Mount the timer kit on a stud, at least 2" (5.1 cm) above the floor, and within reach of the pump
power cord, outlet (timer kit power cord), and the air hose.
Plug the pump power cord and timer power cord into the wall outlet.
Turn on the pump using the control on the whirlpool.
IMPORTANT! The power must be cut off with the pump running.
Unplug the pump. This closes the internal switch in the pump.
Disconnect the air hose from the whirlpool pump.
Connect the air hose to the timer kit, running the hose through the mounting clip.
Plug the pump power cord into the timer kit.
Turn on the whirlpool and check for proper operation.
