CAUTIONARY NOTE AND USER ADVICE
Like any other product that uses radio waves, Babycall I is dependent on the nature of the
f
obstacles located between the transmitter and the receiver, atmospheric conditions, the
orientation of the transmitter and receiver units, and the proximity of domestic appliances,
e
television and radio which should be at least three metres away from the receiver.
The units should always be kept upright when they are working.
When using for the first time and regularly on subsequent occasions, move the units sufficiently far
apart from one another and test the transmission and reception sound quality.
The transmitter is a voice-activated device that automatically goes into stand-by mode
when it detects no noise, thereby reducing receiver battery discharge and mains power
consumption (normal audible click when it cuts out).
Avoid walking around with the receiver on you when reception is poor.
Keep the units away from all sources of humidity and intense heat (central heating radiators,
direct sunlight...). The maximum ambient temperature for using the Babycall I is 28°C.
The unit must only be used with 9V DC 300 mA adapters.
NEVER DISASSEMBLE OR IMMERSE THE UNITS.
Never attempt to open the batteries when they are run down or throw them onto a fire or
into water.
If there is a storm, turn off the babycall I by unplugging the adapters from the mains power.
