The public access point name identifies the public cellular network that the communicator connects
to when data sessions for DLS or remote firmware upgrading are required. Often the APN is the
same as those used for receiver programming, however enter the appropriate APN required for
your private or public SIM card.
Note: Use the same APN for the public APN and the Receiver 1-4 APNs.
[312] – Cellular Login User Name: Default ()
Some network providers require login credentials when connecting to an APN. Program the login
user name in this section. The cellular login user name can be up to 32 ASCII characters.
[313] – Cellular Login Password: Default ()
Some network providers require login credentials when connecting to an APN. Program the login
password in this section. The cellular login password can be up to 32 ASCII characters.
[314] - Receiver Group 1 Test Transmission Time of Day: Default (Disabled)
To test the transmission signals of receiver group 1 (receivers 1 and 2), select the Receiver Group
1 Test Transmission Time Od Day checkbox. When you enable the feature, you can program
the test transmission time of day. Select 24 hour or 12 hour time (am/pm). To program the test
transmission time of day as the current time of the DLS computer, select Now. Leave the checkbox
disabled if you do not need to test the transmission signals.
[315] – Receiver Group 1 Test Transmission Interval: Default (000000)
This programmable option determines the delay between test transmissions, programmable in
minutes. For daily test transmissions enter 001440 in the Receiver Group 1 Test Transmission
Interval field. For weekly test transmissions, enter 010080 in the Receiver Group 1 Test
Transmission Interval field. For monthly test transmissions (3 days) enter 043200 in the Receiver
Group 1 Test Transmission Interval field.
The first test transmission that the 3G4000W communicator sends is determined by the Test
Transmission Time of Day value. Each receiver can be programmed with a different test
transmission cycle and time of day.
[316] – Receiver Group 2 Test Transmission Time of Day: Default (Disabled)
To test the transmission signals of receiver group 2 (receivers 3 and 4), select the Receiver Group
2 Test Transmission Time Of Day checkbox. When you enable the feature, you can program
the test transmission time of day. Select 24 hour or 12 hour time (am/pm). To program the test
transmission time of day as the current time of the DLS computer, select Now. Leave the checkbox
disabled if you do not need to test the transmission signals.
[317] – Receiver Group 2 Test Transmission Interval: Default (000000)
This programmable option determines the delay between test transmissions, programmable in
minutes. For daily test transmissions enter 001440 in the Receiver Group 2 Test Transmission
Interval field. For weekly test transmissions, enter 010080 minutes in the Receiver Group 2 Test
Transmission Interval field. For monthly test transmissions (3 days) enter 043200 in the Receiver
Group 2 Test Transmission Interval field.
The first test transmission that the 3G4000W communicator sends is determined by the Test
Transmission Time of Day value. Each receiver can be programmed with a different test
transmission cycle and time of day.
[325] – Receiver Dialing Attempts: Default (2 attempts)
This setting controls how many communication attempts occur to a central station receiver before
the 3G4000W communicator gives up and moves on to the next programmed backup receiver.
[331] – Command and Control Access Code: Default (disabled)
