Setting up
Primary plug
The primary country adapter of the power supply (4) is interchangeable, this enables worldwide
operation. Fig. 3 and Fig. 4 describe the procedure of changing the plug.

After you have checked the mains voltage indicated on the nameplate of the device, connect
the mains supply plug to the mains supply.
Mount the Wall Charger CW1 (1) in such a fashion, that the power supply (4) can be easily reached
and unplugged. The LED indicates the operational readiness of the power supply (4). The contact
indicator (2) briefly lights up blue when the mains supply plug is connected to the mains supply
and the Wall Charger CW1 (1) is ready for operation.
To turn off the Wall Charger CW1 (1) just disconnect the power supply (4) from the mains supply.
The Wall Charger CW1 (1) is intended for setting up and use in medical areas outside the patient
environment (at least 1.5 meters from the patient or patient support pursuant to IEC 60601-1,
see Fig. 5).

Operation
To charge, insert the binocular indirect ophthalmoscope OMEGA 600 (5) into the Wall Charger CW1
(1) as shown in Fig. 2. The contact indicator (2) on the Wall Charger CW1 (1) indicates contact with
the OMEGA 600 (5). The charge status indicator (6) is located on the battery compartment of the
OMEGA 600.
If the contact indicator (2) on the Wall Charger CW1 (1) or the charge status indicator (6) on the
battery compartment of the OMEGA 600 (5) do not light up after the OMEGA 600 (5) is inserted
into the Wall Charger CW1 (1), check that the OMEGA 600 (5) is inserted correctly and that the
mains supply plug is connected to the mains supply.
